Conservation

The Pine Island Preservation Society provides assistance to the Environmentally Endangered Lands Program.

The Environmentally Endangered Lands (EEL) Program was established in 1990 to protect the natural habitats of Brevard County by acquiring environmentally sensitive lands for conservation, passive recreation, and environmental education.

Sams House hosts weekly On-going Events and Special Annual Events

  • Birdwatching Hikes- Every Saturday 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM

  • Treasure Hunts- Every Sunday 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM

  • Sams Cabin and House Tours - Every Thursday and Saturday - 3:00 PM

  • Pioneers Day - Every February

  • Mango Harvest Festival- Every June
